This children's picture book tells the story of Mhumhi the Wild dog. Mhumhi comes to a place called MalaMala where he looks for new friends to play with. Mhumhi uses his large ears ("Listen! Listen!") to find other animals in MalaMala. He hears the sounds they are making and sees the fun they are having and wants to join in. The book features 31 pages of color photos depicting various species of South African wildlife. The story is told in simple text, appropriate for reading to children ages 3 and up.
