| December 2005 DUDLEY FEMALE The one sighting of this leopard revealed her to be heavily pregnant, however, being a leopard not frequently seen on the property it is not likely that she will have the cubs on Mala Mala. November 2005 DUDLEY FEMALE Once again there were no sightings of the Dudley Female in November, but she has never been a frequently sighted leopard as much of her territory lies to the west of the Sand River on neighbouring Dudley. October 2005 DUDLEY FEMALE The Dudley Female was not seen at all in October. September 2005 DUDLEY FEMALE The Dudley Female was seen twice during the month. On the first occasion, she was seen with a bushbuck kill in a tree on the eastern bank of the Sand River on Flockfield. Minutes earlier, she had been close to a second leopard (believed to be a nervous male) in the reeds nearby. A couple of weeks later, the Dudley Female was found feeding on the scraps of a young male nyala kill in a tree. This nyala carcass had been eaten by a nervous leopard and also the Ngoboswan Female, but the Dudley Female found some nourishment from the dried flesh and bones about 11 days afterwards! July / August 2005 DUDLEY FEMALE No confirmed sightings of the Dudley Female leopard were reported in July or August. June 2005 DUDLEY FEMALE Just a single sighting of the Dudley Female in June - this has often been the case with her, that she pitches up once every few weeks or so, almost as if to simply confirm that she does still exist! She obviously spends a good deal of time off Mala Mala land, on Dudley. May 2005 DUDLEY FEMALE Location: WESTERN FLOCKFIELD April 2005 DUDLEY FEMALE Once again, there was just a single sighting of the Dudley Female in April. She was followed for a good hour or more. She briefly trailed the Hlarulini Male, but then left him when he approached Dudley Crossing. She continued to move north through Tamboti Thicket, then crossed west through the Sand River. March 2005 DUDLEY FEMALE Location: WESTERN FLOCKFIELD The Dudley Female made her appearance just once in March, as if to let us know that she does still exist, and should not be removed from our game report records! She was seen both in the morning and afternoon on the day she was found, and appeared in good condition. She was hunting and scent marking on western Flockfield, east of the Sand River, and did not appear to be lactating. January / February 2005 DUDLEY FEMALE Location: WESTERN FLOCKFIELD
