Styx lionesses, Styx cubs and Rollercoaster male – 15 April 2008

These lions were tracked for a few hours before they were eventually found on northern side Campbell Koppies. One of the lionesses left the group and headed towards the western most Koppies where she was lost in the rocks. After a while she was relocated and treated rangers to the first sight of her new cubs. She then proceeded to relocate the cubs, one by one in her mouth to the eastern most Koppies. There were two different cubs seen relocated and then she was left to herself all the while with the other lionesses and Rollercoaster male not having moved much.
