Unidentified male lion – 15 April 2008

A relaxed young male lion was seen on Sand’s end loop close to the Kruger National Park boundary. The young lion was heading east towards the Sand River and was lost as he moved through the river bed. This area of MalaMala does not have any resident male lions and it could be that this male is looking to set up a territory in this area.
