Unidentified male leopard – 15 April 2008

A very large, young, relaxed male leopard was seen on AG trollop near the junction with Skukuza road. It looked to be the same young male that has been seen frequently around the central parts of Toulon and the southern parts of Charleston. This young male was moving south along the road, sniffing around and then started to scent mark as he moved. It would appear that the young male is trying to push his way into this area but is going to have to challenge the Tjellahanga male as well as the Beaumont’s male for this area.
