Rollercoaster Male and Styx pride – 16 April 2008

During the afternoon drive rangers found lion tracks around the Mlowathi River just south of the Gowrie boundary, after following up on the tracks rangers found all seven members of the Styx pride along with the Rollercoaster male. The lions where sleeping at the Mlowathi dam, soon after dark the lions became active and had a drink from the dam then started to move south.
