Emsagwen male leopard - 05 April 2008
A badly injured male warthog was found just to the south of the Gowrie boundary north of Claredon dam in the late afternoon. After the warthog had succumbed to his injury, the perpetrating leopard returned, the burly Emsagwen male. It took him some time to find the large warthog carcass, which he quickly started to feed on. He was harassed for some time by some jackal and was left to himself feeding on the carcass.
